The City of Strasbourg

Strasbourg is the intellectual and economic capital of Alsace and the Préfecture of the Bas-Rhin Department. Geographically at the heart of an international network of communications, Strasbourg plays an exceptional role. Strasbourg is the second French diplomatic centre as well as the headquarters of the Council of Europe, the Court of Human Rights and the European Parliament.

Strasbourg has an exceptionally rich historical heritage. Among its many churches, the most famous is of course the cathedral.
